Prime-TASS (Прайм-ТАСС) is a major Russian economic news agency, founded in 1996 by the general news agency ITAR-TASS. Last Monday, June 6, the company shortened its name to TASS and rebranded, after ITAR-TASS had sold its controlling stake in the company.
