Challenge is a minor UK television channel, mostly dedicated to reruns of old game shows. Founded in 1997, it was a part of a UK broadcasting company called Virgin Media Television, which was bought by BSkyB last year. Although BSkyB only really wanted the popular women's TV channel Living, closing down almost all the other channels, Challenge was allowed to continue, and gained some popularity by launching on the Freeview platform.
Yesterday, the channel also got a new look, replacing a previous graphics package that dated back to 2008. The new package is built around 8-bit aestethics with bright colours, as is the new logo.
The Ident Gallery, a UK TV branding website, has further coverage, including videos of idents and graphics.
