New logo: Teletoon

Teletoon, a Canadian kids TV network created as Canada's version of the Cartoon Network, introduced a new look at the beginning of this week (September 5 or 6). This involved an updated logo which is animated in various imaginative and colourful ways on-screen to reflect the tagline, "It's Unreal" and the 'brand essence' "Anything is possible". The new look was reportedly devised in-house.

"Teletoon is a brand with unexpected characteristics - it's funny, surprising, playful and - like kids - a little bit mischievous. With this refresh, we want to better unify and re-establish the brand as a whole - and that's exactly what we've done. We've incorporated the brand essence and personality in the logo itself, giving it infinite possibilities to take on different shapes, textures, materials, characteristics and much more. The previous logo, on which the new one is very much based, was introduced on February 5, 2007.
