Grupa Topex is a Polish tool manufacturer. This month, it launched a new corporate identity and also introduced new visual identities for two of its largest brand, Topex and Neo Tools. All three identities were created by the Warsaw office of Dragon Rouge.
For Topex, Dragon Rouge created a T-shield and made the yellow colour associated with the brand brighter. Neo has a polished metallic look. The new corporate logo is said to represent "solidity, maturity and competence". It is characterised by a red "pointer" that can also be used separately.

"The new identification reflects the company´s values and vision, which on this occasion have been completely revised and redefined in cooperation with the Dragon Rouge agency. The Grupa Topex is characterised by reliability, maturity and competence, which are known to have been the foundation of past successes, as well as by the entrepreneurial spirit which allows to plan a new direction of development.
Thus, the most characteristic feature of the new logo is a red pointer which is a strong graphical element in the notation of a new name. The blue-gray font reflects the solid foundation of the company, while the red symbol adds the necessary dynamics and operational vector. This symbol has been consistently used across all the company brand´s communication media, thereby supporting its positive message inside and outside the organisation. Once implemented, the logo will be visible even from an aircraft – displayed on the roof of the company headquarters." - Dragon Rouge
"The idea behind the brand is reflected in the new logo, the key element of which is now a shield bearing the letter T at the center, thus conveying the brand´s new quality, its reliability and the self-confidence it instills in its users. The brand´s typography and colour have also been granted a change for the better. The traditional yellow changed for a clearer and more energetic tone, and the red elements appearing in the logo, on the packaging and on the products themselves are meant to boost vitality and make the brand stand out on the market. The visual world of the brand has been supplemented with specific backgrounds, imagery and a new way of showing the products and people. Pictures of people associated with the TOPEX brand present spontaneous domestic situations, in which the main role is played always by a man – the head of the family. The brand remains practical, but the accompanying emotions now allow users to identify themselves with what it has to offer more easily. "The new NEO logo, enriched with a 3D effect, has been created to the end of conveying the quality and precision of NEO tools in the best possible way. Metallicity, contrasting light and a polished surface are all meant to evoke associations with advanced technology. The brand´s typical orange tone has been contrasted with a jet black one, which in combination with the fibreglass structure suggestion constitutes a modern backdrop for the tools and the brand messages while conveying the "higher shelf price" message.
NEO is a brand whose strength depends largely on the quality of visual assumptions implementation. Focus on detail is of great importance here, just as much as the selection of higher quality materials, better manufacturing techniques and high exhibition standards." - Dragon Rouge
