Liv is a Finnish national television channel that is mostly dedicated to lifestyle programmes for women. This month, on September 3, it introduced a new visual identity, replacing the launch logo from 2009. It was developed by Dutch agency Cape Rock in collaboration with an in-house team. It introduces a versatile and flexible logo that can take on different colours, in addition to the signature green.

Update September 20: Cape Rock has released a video montage showcasing the idents they created for Liv. They also explained how the logo visualises how the channel "points you in the right direction". Idents display an elevated, cosmopolitan way of life.

That shape looks like RTL8, the Dutch channel for feminine audience.
ReplyDeleteYou forget its sister channel, JIM, targeted to men, also changed its logo and on-air look that day.
ReplyDeleteReminds me of sixx, a German television channel targeting women and using the same shape. Even the colour green is the same.
